Office Support/Front Desk

Office Support/Front Desk - Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, check in patients for scheduled appointments, check out patients, answer multi-line telephone, dispense/sell contact lenses, educate patients on contact lens and contact lens solutions, register patients with walk-in scripts for Optical. Perform other office duties, including but not limited to faxing, photocopying, credit card processing, distributing packages, basic bookeeping and filing.

Major skills needed: People friendly, work well with others, computer skills, multitasking and attention to detail.

Tester

Tester - Perform vision related diagnostic tests and record results.  Prepare examination room for patient and doctors including ensuring all paperwork is in order, cleaning instruments and displaying test results on computerized equipment.

Perform administrative and clinical tasks to keep the practice running smoothly.  Notify patients when glasses and or contacts arrive, track testing room supplies, and ensure a well-stocked supply of office forms.  Miscellaneous office duties may include data entry, using office facsimile, calculator and telephone.  Answer incoming phone line, greet patients, update and file patient medical records.

Major skills needed: People friendly, work well with others, computer skills, multitasking and attention to detail.  High school diploma or high school equivalency.
